Thanks for teaching me! Your knowledge is extraordinary! You have exceeded my expectations. Having been at the top level of Professional Long Driving for more than 20 years, and a voracious experimenter trying to find every edge whether small or significant...and seen, heard and read and tried every tip and training theory there is dealing with hitting the golf ball farther, I have to say the trip (to see you) was an eye opener!
Sean Fister, 3-Time World Long Drive Champion
On the course, I'm starting to get looks from people. I'm flying traps that I didn't even think about before. Playing down wind I hit our par 5 third with an 8-iron. The real amazing story was the "back into the wind" 4th hole. I couldn't find my ball. Imagine my surprise when I found the ball 130 yards from the hole - after a 290, into the wind drive. That might be my best yet. Anyway, I'm starting to have real fun. You might be creating a monster.
R. B., Ontario and Orlando
You have changed my whole attitude towards golf and teaching. I am having more fun teaching and playing and my students are having more fun swinging the golf club faster. I will be on the east coast in the spring. I will be sure to call you and make it over to your studio. I can't wait to wake up and go faster.
George P., PGA Professional, Michigan
It was unbelievable what I saw with my own eyes with that monitor....I believe that some of my numbers were about 107-109 on trackman...this is unreal...I will work superhard at this...THANK YOU SO MUCH!
D.L., Golf Professional, Florida
(My friend was quiet on the way home…) I asked him if he was disappointed. Quite the opposite he responded. He just couldn't wrap his mind around what just happened with you in one session. He could not stop talking about it on the way home.
… 98 mph to 115 mph with driver “in one lesson”…My lesson with you has been THE BEST lesson ever, without a doubt. Nobody has ever been able to show me how to swing faster, but you have, in one lesson. I look forward to learning more from you, hopefully sooner rather than later, as I do want to continue make these remarkable swing speed gains! Thanks again, sincerely, for all your help. I look forward to coming up to see you again for my next lesson and getting past the 120mph barrier!
You've got a special gift, Mr. Jackson. Sincerely, thank
you...God Bless!

"I played golf today and definitely was longer. I will now strive to average above 110. I am just about there! Never thought I would get there from 86 just a month ago. Thank you!"
Brad...North Carolina
"A couple of highlights to share - 521 par 5-- on in two - easy birdie; and 310 par 4 - little dogleg right -took it over the trees toward the pin 270 yds, Part of a wedge to 6 feet. Made putt, made eagle! Good stuff!"
Bob...Chicago
"With the guidance you gave me, the exercises, drills, and training gear, I was able to increase my distance dramatically! In my last round I shot 71 and had two drives of 315 yards – much to the amazement of my competition. I owe it all to you and your system!"
Bill...Garrison, NY
I would like to see you spread your message and receive the recognition you deserve - before your teaching I tried everything to increase distance- stretching, lifting, swing mechanics, new drivers etc, etc,.If one has proper equipment increasing swing speed is the only way to increase distance - no one else in the world has the system and methods to do it besides you.
I started at 92 mph and my average has increased to 105 mph - and I'm not done yet. I improved to a 4 handicap this year from a 6. Plus, I made 7 eagles this year - hitting par 5's in two - driving a couple short par 4's - never had so much fun. As you know so well age is attitude - I'll turn 65 in a couple of days and with your help still improving -
Bob M., IL
"...much faster than last year. Playing well, too. You've helped me a lot ... not only with speed but also with the mental approach to training and aggressive mental approach to scoring. Thanks,
Kevin M., MA
Played a tournament yesterday - NIMAGA Senior Open ( over 50 ) - WON! Shot even 72- won by three shots . Course was wet again, but had three drives carry 270. Really good control with irons - definitely longer too. Golf game is better- swinging better - seeing results - in for the long haul. Thanks Ben,
Bob M., Illinois
By the way, I hit my longest drive at Oakmont CC this past weekend...292 measured with a laser...Pretty awesome. Gained an average of 5mph yestgerday doing "fast" drills - from 108 mph to 113. Thanks so much for showing me the light."
B.L., Oakmont, PA
...most importantly I hit my driver 40-50 yards longer on the course compared to last year! Yesterday I hit two drives just over 300 yards in the middle of the fairway! Its really amazing! I know it works every time! It´s a totally different ballgame since I reach the par-5s in two easily now. I have wedge and 9-iron left on par-4s where I used to hit 4-iron. I´m also hitting my irons 10-15 yards longer. I´ll let you know when I do my first 64! Thanks a lot for a great program.
Stefan P., Malmo, Sweden
Thanks very much Ben. You are very encouraging and clear and I understand quite well ... It hit me, now that you point this to me, that I have feared missing the ball my whole golfing life. I will strive on, sticking the XL8R into the impact target and forget about the ball, and I will persevere with the exercises.
Jin Lee, Shanghai, China
I want to thank you for getting me to this point. I've gone from one of the shortest hitters here (88 mph) to one of the longest (109 mph average) in my age range.
Dave S., Florida
I won the Senior Championship - net score - last week. This (current) is member-member and my partner and I are leading it. I started a little shaky but picked it up with 4 birdies and finished birdie, birdie. Not sure what our lead is but somewhere between 0 and 3. On my swings I'm just driving into the same target as the XLR8R.
Dave S., Florida
Ben-I played a local course at 6555 yards and shot a 70 !!!!! One under Par everything in the hole … Guys I was playing with who were younger than me said you're hitting it by us by 30 -35 yards off the tee . I replied I must have hit a sprinkler head!
B. L., Oakmont, PA
Hi, Ben,
I wanted to send you a note with regard to my recent play at the recent Father-Son Golf Classic at Myrtle Beach, SC. This was the second year Paul and I competed. Last year we placed 328 among a field of 800 teams. I was the weak link with my drives last year being short all to frequently. This year, however, as a result of my training with you we were able to win quite decisively. We led the tournament after Day 1 and never looked back, winning by 9 strokes (gross score) in our Flight. Out of 672 teams competing we finished 10th with a score of 206 (gross). Our goal next year is to be #1 overall! I am 65 and...consistently drove the ball LONG and STRAIGHT. From there it was a rather average shot for Paul to reach the Green, even on most of the Par 5’s.
My swing speed average, as you know, has increased between 15-20mph. My home course is a Pete Dye design and is the 2nd longest course in Florida. Obviously then, distance is a key. As my swing speed has increased, my scores have decreased. There are few (if any) of the golfers I golf with here who can outdrive me consistently. Some are now consistently behind me in drives. It’s a great feeling!
I look forward to the continued training and of course increased swing speed as Paul and I shoot for #1 next year. Thanks, Ben.
Dave S., Florida
Hi Ben,
Two workouts with 3,2,1, 4 and a snapper workout. Getting close to big distance. Marking with my GPS so I know actual yardage. Hit a few 260, 265, 268 and then hit four at 280, 281, 282, and 284. The 282 was a par four that plays all uphill. Last week I was hitting them 270, 10 yds in one week. Also, on a flat par four hit one 302 - who is this guy?
The football drill for me carries over for full stretch in the backswing and concentrated on keeping a stable center. I think you are right when you state the XLR8R creates compression and ball speed.
On two short par 5's I was 235 and 238 to the green, both surrounded by bunkers. Have to get a club that I can carry in the air. I've never been a good fairway wood player so I am hitting a 16 degree hybrid that I hit low with lots of roll... You talk about shooting 64 - I was thinking about breaking 70 but why not go right to the low number? So far, work, work ,work and BAM! it kicks in.
Never had so much fun - guys I play with still don't realize - they think it's because I just had a few good days. You are right that I'm better and know I'm better -Even though I can usually play once a week now that baseball is over I am going to play Sat and Sun - should make a difference.
Thanks for your help –
Bob M., IL
I'm sure there will be many but Saturday was a breakthrough session for me...
I did not play today (course closed with all the rain) but I hit balls and everything is changing... the sound was making everyone around me (including the pros) stop!
I can't thank you enough. Please let me know if you think I can help you in any way.
Many, many thanks,
Your loyal disciple, Martin V., New York, N Y
Thank you for the most enjoyable golf experience I ever had.
Joe S., Shelton, CT
Hi Ben,
I want to continue to strive and work hard. This program really works and you are a genius! Thanks! (His high is 116, from a starting speed of 97, after 3 training session.)
Bruce S., Richland, WA
Ben-Thanks for the best lesson I ever had. The material that you covered is surpassed only by your teaching expertise…
Harvey D.,Cohassett, NY
Thanks Ben, for all your help…see you soon!
Scott (Smith), Mr. "539”, Long Drive Record Holder
Besides a deep and sincere thank you, all I can say is - eye opening and awesome!! That applies to you as well as the training. It really was a sincere pleasure meeting you and I don't say that merely out of convention.
I did the exercises this morning and boy, did I underestimate them. I am really looking forward to the continuous journey.
It is a privilege to know you.
Martin V., Astoria, New York
Thanks Mr. Jackson - I think we are making great strides! 98 avg to 110 in 16 days. I am excited everyday to train to push to the next level.
S. Gonzales, Del Rio,TX
...Good news! Played Oakmont CC this past weekend and shot a 75...it was a match no strokes but the guy I beat has a +1 handicap and is 10 years younger than me. Coach, my irons have never been straighter and pure. Longer by a club too - 7-iron goes 165 vs 155 a year ago, 6-iron goes 180 plus, and all like lasers with penetrating ball flight.
My driver flies straight as well, and 30 yards deeper than before...not satified either...want to gain another 10mph in clubhead speed...and soon! Thanks for all your help.
B.L., Oakmont, PA
...Got in 9 today. Shot a 37 in very windy conditions and firm fairways. Had a couple of downwind drives of 340+...drove the front edge of the green on a 354 yard hole (chipped up and made birdie) Never, ever did that before. Hit another two drives 300 yards uphill into the wind. Never did that before either. The transformation in terms of distance continues to place. I want to keep adding to it while continuing the translation to lower scoring.
Col. Joe S., Utah
...Back today from Florida... NEVER HIT IT FARTHER . My plan was to attack - did not back down. My younger brother used to hit it 20-30 yds further, I out drove him 20-8 in two days.
So, I know your program is working and know it will get even better.
Thanks for your help, last day hitting 8-9-Pw into greens instead of 5 or 6. Shot 40 on front and 31 ( not a misprint) on the back!
Bob M., Illinois
Two great things happened in golf for me this year. I had a Hole in One in August of this year and my partner and I finished in second place in the biggest tournament of the year here at Bam Hollow.
I was lucky enough to hole a 25 footer on the 18th hole to get us into the final match. All in all it was a great day...Why not win the club championship again? I won it at age 47 and age 57 (I call that the Ben Jackson trophy) so I have a couple of more years to get it done again...Hope to see you soon.
Dennis B., NY
Anything you say I will do. I just shot a 74 with my buddies and took their money. I was swinging it 103 and 104 on the range before the round. (AFTER 1 WEEK!)
Chris R., St Louis, MO
I am one of Ben's students...after a year of training I ended with the following results.. Started shooting in the 70's at the end of the golf season...after having difficulty breaking 90 at the beginning of the year - Added 10mph to my top end swing (hit my PR today in fact). Went from 122mph to 132mph or 284 carry to 310 carry.
- Added 9mph to my "average" driver swing...115 to 124. In the past month, I added 6mph to my top end and the 9mph "average" driver swing speed also came in the past month. Ben's program works. I am VERY much looking forward to Spring. Goals are to hit 140+ for my top end, swing "comfortably" at 132mph for the driver, and shoot 69 or better. Sounds crazy, but by golly it's well within reach...just too much improvement, momentum, and confidence for it not to happen.

Things were looking good on the course... played Wednesday after my workout and had two drives over 280 yards. I had never come close to those marks before the FastFirst program.
K. Mathews, Boston, MA
I am seeing a definite steady decrease in swing time (tempo) and increase in swing speed!... playing has been enlightening and encouraging.
B.C., California
I feel like I am learning to play golf for the first time...this time like a player rather than a "recreational" golfer. I'd rather be a player. I like the feeling of being a player.
J.S., Alabama
Ben....I actually broke through and not only did I hit 110 mph, but I hit 111 mph, and then I hit 113 mph. I really feel like this was a breakthrough. If you look at my averages, I started the program with an avg of 93 mph, tonight my average swings were 108 mph. That's an increase of 15 mph in 3 weeks!!!!! Thank you so much for all your guidance. I can't wait to see how far we can take this!!! I did get to play a round over the weekend, and I must report that things are looking good on the course as well.
N. Collins, Atlanta, GA
…had 6 birdies and an Eagle yesterday! Shot 70 (two under par), but realistically should have been a 64.
Brooks Baldwin (long drive competitor) played with me and afterwards he said, "What have you been doing?, You are faster than you were and have picked up 25 yards."I told him that I would tell him after I win the championship in the Open division in Mesquite. Thanks,
Beast (Sean Fister), 3-Time World Long Drive Champion
Ben-Just one day after talking to you...I had a new personal high. Tonight was XLR8R night. Here is the kicker. Using both hands I had a personal high on my last swing of the night of 118 mph. Being excited by that, I grabbed my driver for the first time in a few weeks...my two driver swings were 110 mph and 113 mph! This is up from 100 mph just 2 1/2 short weeks ago!
Steve Roberts, Desloge, MO
I don't think anybody knows better than I the value of this program. I honestly did not dream that I could be as good as I can be. There is so much out there in the realm of golf instruction, some good, some bad, most well-intentioned, but there is really nothing to compare with what you have to offer.
Bill Simons East Lyme, CT
I played today (after working on your program)...it was probable the best driving day I have had in a long time. They were not only longer than normal, but they were straighter than normal. It was really quite a surprise to me. Seemed like the balls just JUMPED off the face with more rebound...This goes against everything one has ever been taught in golf instruction...good stuff, Ben.
Zane S. PGA Professional, South Dakota
People have been telling me to shorten my backswing for years, but never showed me how...until now. It's almost impossible to increase clubhead speed and unheard of to do it in such a short amount of time...until now. I just love this, it's so simple.
C. Harvey, East Lyme , CT
Best drive I ever hit. ..I'm hitting shots with a wedge that I used to hit with an 8-iron.
P. Humphrey, New London CT
I feel like I am making much more solid ball contact. And I am not nearly as erratic...Definitely encouraged.
U.R., Maryland
I was...on a course I had not played before, so I didn't have a sense beforehand as to how far my drives would go. But I know for a fact on one par 5 I hit a 275 yard drive. Followed it up sticking a 3 iron 15 feet from the hole and made my eagle. Distance matters!
N. Collins, Atlanta, GA
I decided to hit a few balls with my wedge. 200% better. It felt like I was on top of the ball just killing it. I didn’t feel stuck and/or flippy. If I was on turf, It felt like my divot would be a foot long and it would go right at my target. I hit the wedges the best I can remember… Definitely no tilting motion going on.
If there is a Rosetta Stone, your ideas are it. You need to copyright/patent your ideas. It will/is bigger than anything out there.
Mike S., Peoria IL
Dina and I talked at length about (our) session (with you)and the utter simplicity of your approach. It's total, absolutely different than all the instruction I've had, books I've read, etc. Innovative, paradigm shattering, transformational, revolutionary...all appropriate words. We're committed to maximizing what we're learned. Pretty excellent stuff. Again, it's not everyone that can swim against the prevailing paradigm, step out of the box, and recognize how change needs to occur. You've done that. Thanks!
Joe & Dina Scherrer, AL
So, we got home (after our lesson), and because it was raining neither of us could hit any balls. I went out to the Country Club of Greenfield early Sunday morning to play in the Bucky O’Brien Scotch with a good friend of mine. I couldn’t stop thinking about the lesson and the revelatory aspect of what you shared with us… I hit a small bucket of balls first (first swings since the lesson) and went out and hit the ball more solidly than I had in 3 months… And long too…
A couple of highlights: Drives of 280 yards… 285 yards… 315 yards… And this is without having a chance to “work on it yet”. My irons were crisp, and my wedges were especially crisp...
Great stuff, and thanks again for Saturday… Mike and I had a blast!
Brian Morin, Leominster, MA
Wanted to let you know that although I am not quite ready for the Tour I did do rather well in my annual two-day tournament with my buddies.
On both days I won 9 out of 18 holes outright. My drives were in play on every hole except for two holes on Friday. I only lost one ball over the two days. (a second shot that found some green side water) I did not have a single 3 putt either day. Overall, two really good rounds of golf.
Mostly, all of my buddies were amazed and made several comments on how much more controlled my game is and how much better I am shooting. And I have to agree. My consistency, accuracy, and distance off the tee were intimidating (they kept shaking their heads in amazement and had no answers to my driving), my approach shots were usually dead on the green and my putting was on fire. Thanks,
Tom B., Westerly, RI
Ben- I am in places on the golf course I have never been before and it is because of your program!
Now that I am longer (230 yds to 300+ yds in 90 days!). I am having a bunch of wedge and 9 iron shots into greens. My scores are dropping and I know they will drop a lot faster once I learn the (your)short game program. My goal is to play and compete in the big amateur tourneys and with your help I know I can. Thanks,
Chris Moses, San Clemente, CA
UPDATE: 131mph/.83 sec. 64...Here I come!...C.M.
Ben - I wanted to share this with you. On Tuesday of this week I played golf with all of the guys I work with, at The Ledges Golf Course in Maine. My co-worker challenged me to hit the ball from the men’s tee on the 8th hole (signature hole for the course). He thought I could make the shot and he was right. I landed the ball on the green and putted 66 feet for birdie. My other co-worker, a die hard Yankees fan, said it was better than the Yankees winning the pennant! To top it off, the other 15 co-workers who were at our meeting gave a toast to me at dinner that night. It was great!
Thank you for coaching me and providing me with the confidence to make that happen. I always remember your words of wisdom and I am getting good!
Ms K. Adamonis, MA
..."I played well (nine holes), but most importantly, I hit two drives over 220 yards...I never, ever did that even before..."
R.E. (76 year-old cancer patient), RI
I knew there had to be a better way. I had read all the books, watched all the videos, gone to a few of the "TOP" teachers in the world, attended seminars from the game's best, worked with guys who teach the latest and greatest. None of it had me any closer to earning some credentials.
I first worked with Ben in September. He had me test my driver speed. On October 1st my top speed was 109 mph, with an average of 106. He gave me the drills, workouts, ideas and encouragement and off I went. December 4 my top driver speed was 140 mph, with an average of 135. I don't believe I have even scratched the surface of my potential.
There is no way I would be getting it done like that without his teachings. It's unfortunate, due to politics, that Golf Magazine and Golf Digest are unable to list Ben as the top instructor in the world. I have worked with 5 of the top 20 instructors and they should be embarrassed that they are even on the list. Let me take that back. I'm glad Ben isn't listed, because if he was, too many would be able to get the goods and there would be that many more players I would have to beat!
Mike Sutkowski, Golf Professional, Ocala, FL
Hi Ben-Hey, this stuff works! I'm just killing the ball!..and I'm much straighter than I used to be...I played today and had a great day! On a 310 yard hole I hit my drive just off the green, pin high. Because of wet fairways, there was very little roll, so it was almost all carry. On another hole, I hit it 296 yards (both shots were accurately measured with a Sky Caddie)...no one else in my group, the group ahead of us, or the group behind us, came within 75 yards of my shots. I don't hit shots like that every time yet, but know I see that I have the potential. Not bad for a guy who is going to be 60 years old on his next birthday, and is barely 5'8" and 145 lbs. I shot a 75 today...again, not bad for a guy who started the season as a 14 handicap!
(After 4 lessons later)...My handicap index has now dropped to 9.6...my average score is now between 78 and 83. It used to be between 84 and 95. Anita won the "A" flight (low gross) of the Bellport Women's Golf Club. Not only that, she was leading by 12 strokes after the 2nd round, and coasted in for a 10 shot victory over the 3 rounds of the tournament!
Tom B., Long Island, NY
I am hitting the ball a lot better. A first my score did not change that much, however, I stuck to my promise I made to you and kept hitting them the way you showed me THEN it happened...I have to tell you I am very pleased...You have made a world of difference in my game. Thanks, see you soon...
Glen F., Newport, CA
Sorry about the phone call...just too excited to resist! I went to the range yesterday with the thought to just warm up...(very briefly hit a 6-iron, then go at it with the driver, using the SSR/TT) The results are attached. I was getting more enthusiastic with each swing.
At first I thought my numbers were a fluke until the person behind me said they'd never seen a driver swung that fast...you've now created a full-blown monster as any small, lingering doubts were erased yesterday...back at the Speedchain this afternoon...many, many thanks for your guidance and coaching!
(one month later)...I'm not big on bragging but I meant to pass along this anecdote from Saturday: A group of guys in their 30's waved us through on a 415 yard par 4 with a slight dog-leg right. and a large bunker in the corner of the leg...the tees are back to the tips so I know it's 265 + to carry the thing...I aim for the left edge but slightly pushed the drive and blew it right over the bunker. I'm left with 105 yards to the pin...I 3/4 the thing to 25 feet beyond the pin and 2 putt for par...as I'm walking off the green these 4 young studs are in denial that someone my age can move it like they just witnessed...
In 20 years I've NEVER hit a ball over that bunker from the tips and the look on their faces was worth every penny I've spent...SWEET! J. Miller, Atlanta, GA
Hey Ben-
Still traveling and getting some workouts in...but more importantly...I played Pebble Beach yesterday...back tees...beautiful day...shot 75 which was pretty good for me...my friends were astounded (especially when I was routinely driving it by them where they were playing from the tees ahead of mine (plus I hit 12 of 14 fairways)...greens were very small...funny thing is that I know I can do even better...especially with the putter...one of the most memorable days of my life though...Thanks so much Ben!!!
R. Amaroso, Philadelphia, PA
Hi Ben...Played Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (Michigan) which hosted a celebrity charity event. We won the A Flight scramble the A Flight scramble...I hit a 385 yard drive to win the long drive contest with an 8-iron to a par 5, 535 yard hole and another dog-leg right 500+ par 5 with a drive and a 9-iron to the green ...
Dr. J. Gadbaw, Stonington, CT
I just had my best round here in Key West, a 73!! I still use the workouts you gave me when I was the Commandant of Cadets at the United States Coast Guard Academy.
Captain Phil Heyl, Key West, FL
I touched up a new CHS Personal Record yesterday. Back on 3/22 my best was 114mph. Yesterday, recording 6 swings, I touched 116 mph twice with the low being 113. I have been experimenting with a few little training twists. Ben talks about creating speed "between the feet" or "in front of the body." I have been using the XLR8R and SC and taking some swings from the fixed position at 9 o'clock and also at about 10:30. I start from those positions, with the wrists set, and just rotate crazy hard to the left.
The best part is I shot a 5-over par 77, split over two days, in the cold, wind, damp on aerated fairways and greens. I am hitting some bombs with the driver, but I am most pleased with how well I am striking the irons, with minimal practice time. Cold, rain, snow, KEEP WORKING HARD GUYS! We are all “getting good”. (From Speed Training Forum)

It’s fun again. I was literally jumping up and down…I couldn’t believe it was me. I’ve recovered so much distance.
Amy Stone, six-time Ladies Club Champion, Stonington, CT
I was ready to give up, I hadn’t played in weeks. Then…wow…you’ve put it all together. This is what I’ve been looking for.
Tom Flaherty, Mystic CT
Now that golf season is over, I wanted to let you know that I had a 74 in the round played after my last lesson. Most remarkable is that going into the lesson I was barely able to make contact between ball and club. That same round I discovered that Tour Tempo is also important to little shots around the green, as well as to full ones. Perhaps there is some hope after all!
Richard Voyer, Mystic, CT
Ben, Great news! I won my club championship yesterday on my home course. The count was 4 and 3. With my son, Scott, caddying for me and keeping me focused on the things I learned in my lessons with you, yesterday was my best ball-striking day in 10 years. Not bad for a 57 year old guy. Thanks again for all your help. See you soon.
Dennis Barghaan, Bam Hollow Country Club, NY
I just shot an 83, my best round ever by 4 strokes. The front 9 was a 40 with no doubles. If you recall, consistency was something I wanted to get out of the lesson.
Phil Smith, Raleigh, NC
I played today and shot a 78…terribly windy…drives were straight and long…no more slice! Definitely noticed a big difference in trajectory and distance.
M.N., Lincoln, MA
This is it! You’ve got it! My handicap dropped 5 strokes in less than six weeks.
